Abstract
Phuc Kien Assembly Hall in Lan Ong Street, Hanoi is a folk belief structure built by the Chinese people of Fujian province. The hall, which has been restored and repaired several times, still retains its typical features of architecture and art and has been recognized as a national historical and cultural relic. Based on the results of the author's fieldwork in July and November 2020, this article provides an overview of the history of the formation and architecture of the Hall. In particular, it presents current changes in the belief of Thien Hau (also known as the ocean sea goddess Mazu in China) worship at Phuc Kien Assembly Hall.
