Social Inequality among the Ethnic Minorities: Practical Situation and Solution Orientations

  • Đặng Nguyên Anh

Abstract

After 30 years of the Renovation, Vietnam has achieved a lot of important successes. From a poor and less developmental country, it has risen up a developing country with average income and deep integration into the global economy. However, the poverty and social inequality, especially among the ethnic minorities, still have been a persistent issue. Based on the macro-data at national level, this writing identified the practical situation of social inequality among the ethnic minorities in temporary Vietnam and proposed a number of solution orientations for diminishing the gap of social inequality among the ethnic minorities.
