Abstract

Through the analysis of restoration of the Vietnamese-Americans after the Katrina typhoon in New Orleans in the year of 2005, the article indicated that the Vietnamese-Americans always have been placed in the ideology of the White Americans dominating over the American society. Accordingly, they not only always have been arranged in a position appropriate to their Asian root but sometimes they also have leaned towards the ideology of the White Americans.
