The Practical Situation of Education and Vocational Training of Fisheries in the Coastal Area of Central and Southern Vietnam (Case Study in Two Provinces of Quang Ngai and Quang Nam)

Abstract

Education is one of the important measures which reflects and evaluates the socio-economic development of each locality and community of residents. The practical situation of education and vocational training in communes belonging to Ly Son island district (Quang Ngai province) and Binh Minh commune (Thang Binh district, Quang Nam province), have had changes and have achieved certain results, especially in quality of education and vocational training. This is the result of process of change of perception of education of the community of fisheries in combination with the interest, investment and assistance of authorities at all levels. The above research finding shows that the economic condition and the quality of education and vocational training in both above localities are affecting each other.
