Đặc điểm hôn nhân của người Dao di cư ở thôn Hợp Thành, xã Ea Mdróh, huyện Cư Mgar, tỉnh Đắk Lắk
Tóm tắt
When still living in their old native places in the northern mountainous region, the marriage of the Yao migrants in Hop Thanh village, Ea Mdróh commune (Cu M’gar district, Dak Lak province) had taken place according to its tradition. At present, after nearly 30 years of resettlement in the Central Highlands, the marriage and its ceremonies of the Yao people in Hop Thanh village have undergone many changes in their form. However, the crucial elements relating to the beliefs and customs and habits such as the ancestral worship, ceremony of newly-wed’s first visit to the bride’s family, bridegroom marriage, etc., have been maintained evidently. While the marriage age has increased, inter-ethnic marriages have expanded, the time of wedding organization has minimized, wedding guests have included not only ethnic fellows but also people from different ethnicities in the same localities even the relatives from the old native places in the northern mountainous region, etc. This indicates that the wedding ceremony of the Yao people in this locality has had a combination of tradition and modernization appropriate to the specific environment conditions of the Central Highlands.
