The author presents the step-by-step adaptation of the Trung Luong traditional forging village into the integrated economy. To achieve this, the villagers face many challenges. They must apply science and technology to their forging production, by improving their tools. They also need to learn how to extend to the consumer market by learning different types of product distribution as well as how to make new product models. Studying the changing process of the forging village in this area in accordance with the market-oriented mechanism shows us the achievements and shortcomings of the traditional Trung Luong village forge. Based on these findings, the author proposes suggestions to encourage the successful development of the traditional forging village.
