The transborder ethnic relations in economic activity of many ethnic peoples in the Northern mountainous region has become visible since long-standing time based on relations of ethnic historical origin, kinship, transborder marriage, etc. In the background of market machanism, globalization and integration at present, transborder economic relations of Nung, Tai, Hmong and Ha Nhi peoples in this region have been tending to increase with many types of exchange such as exchange of breeding plants and livestocks, mutual assistance in production, farming land trespass, especially trade, work for hire and so on. Those relations have created considerable income for people, have contributed to the productive renovation but they also have had their negative effects on life of resident community, ethnic identity, social stability and defensive security in this region.
