The authors deal with Co-tu traditional society by an introduction that Co-tu society has recorded particular advanced achievements and embedded the characters of a civilized society - a civil society. Accordingly, they analyze specific features of Co-tu traditional social institution by comparing this institution with the characteristics   of the model of a civil society, which are: 1) a society that reaches a high level in self-arrangement and self-adjustment; 2) a society of the liberal, equal, voluntary and highly conscious people; 3) an explicit and transparent society; and 4) a society that achieves a balance and harmony between the public and private interests.
