Sự cải đạo theo Ki tô giáo của một bộ phận người Hmông ở Việt Nam và khu vực Đông Nam Á từ cuối thế kỷ XIX đến nay
Tóm tắt
With historical data and collected documents from field works, the author has analysed the process of conversion from the traditional religion to Protestantism of Hmong people in Vietnam, Laos, and Thailand. Because Hmong people lost their homeland, were excluded, and perished, they had to leave their homes and scatter. In this context of difficult living conditions, some Hmong people have undergone religious crisis, and awaited the arrival of a saviour. This condition was advantageous for the penetration of Protestantism among Hmong people.
