Consequences of the chemical warfare in Vietnam – The known and the unknown

Abstract

Synthesizing available materials on Agent Orange/dioxin and its use in Vietnam, the authors provide an overview on the consequences of the war on the ecological environment and human health. The use of dioxin has caused direct and long-term impacts on human health. The impacts of Agent Orange/dioxin on the environment and humans are clear therefore those who are responsible for this chemical warfare should think and act to resolve its consequences and relieve the burden and sufferings of the victims.
