Some Aspects of Spiritualistic Culture of the Khmer in Terms of Psychology

Abstract

The article deals with religious manifestations and dynamics  of the Khmer (they value earth more than heaven, adhere to Buddhism, worship ancestral spirits, snake deity Naga, Neakta  and Arak spirits, etc). The author suggests that psychological aspects and spiritualistic culture of the Khmer should be sufficiently considered in order to have appropriate solutions to strengthen the great ethnic unity in Vietnam.
