Forge trade of Dao Do people in Ho Thau commune, Hoang Su Phi district, Ha Giang province

Abstract

In this article, the author introduced the traditional forge iron of Dao Do people who are living in mountainous area of Vietnam. After describing the manufacturing process and product circulation, the author analysed the factors contributing to maintain the operation of this traditional trade at the present. He supposes it is one of the traditional ethnic values of Dao Do people that should be preserved and introduced to the public
