Bilingual life of the Cong and Ha Nhi ethnic minorities in North Western region

Abstract

Based on research studying two hamlets of Ha Nhi and Cong ethnic minorities in the North Western region, the author views that in the process of natural transfer of bilingual environment, there appeared change of using bilingual Ha Nhi-Thai, Ha Nhi-Quan Hoa and Cong-Thai to Ha Nhi-Viet and Cong-Viet. The fact showed that communication of bilingual Cong-Viet, Ha Nhi-Viet has close direct relations with the Vietnamese universalization and regional socio-economic development
