Grasping the resolution of the 7th Central Communist Party meeting, 9th legislature on ethnic issues, promoting cooperation and heighten quality of scientific studies on ethnology

Abstract

The author analyses important contents on ethnic issues mentioned in   resolution No 24-NQ/TW dated March, 12^th, 2003 by the Central Communist Party Committee, 9^th legislature. After presentation and clarification of 4 views and 5 target objectives on ethnic issues at present, the author proposed strengthening and improving the quality of scientific studies on ethnic issues, continuing effective cooperation in scientific studies between the Committee on Ethnic Minorities and National Scientific Institutions, especially with the Vietnamese Academy of Social Sciences including the Institute of Anthropology for the promotion of further scientific studies on ethnic issues in coming years.
