Meaning of symbol system in the E-de festivals

Abstract

Among ritual activities of E-de people (residing in Tay Nguyen), the mystery is its symbol, there are many vivid and complicated activities of symbolic systems intertwined. The author has divided symbolic types of rituals of the E-de into two types: single symbol (one sided) and dual symbol (dualism). The single one is related to rituals on forests and human cycle, the dual one includes rituals in wedding and funeral.
