Abstract

The research "Factors affecting the work motivation of who are unionists of the Can Tho City Confederation of Labor" has the target of the research that is analysis of the tactors affecting the work motivation of who are unionists of the Can Tho City Confederation of Labor. The study has surveyed over 150 subjects who are unionists of the Can Tho City Confederation of Labor. The scales used in the study are reliable with Cronbach's Alpha coefficient > 0.6 and the correlation coefficient with the total variable > 0.3. With EFA analysis, the study shows that the variables are closely correlated with the KMO coefficient > 0.5, reaching the convergent value with the factor loading coefficients all greater than 0.5. The results show that there are seven factors affecting the unionists, which are work, training and promotion, peer relationship, superior relationship, Income, working conditions and recognition of personal contributions. In addition, testing the difference of demographic characteristics also shows that there are no difference in the work motivation of trade unionists between gender, age and education.
