Solutions to promote startup support activities for students Can Tho University of Technology
Abstract
In this current context, startup activities help create many new jobs, reduce unemployment rates and expand the labor market. In the startup ecosystem, universities played a particularly important role. This article presents the theoretical and practical basis for startup support activities at Can Tho University of Technology (CTUT). On that basis, the authors proposed practical solutions that contribute to promoting activities to support student startups at CTUT. Document research methods and secondary data analysis indicated startup support activities including: communication activities; startup training support activities; activities to build an environment to support student startups; activities to support capital sources for student startup programs and projects and activities to improve mechanisms and policies to support student startups. The research has proposed a number of practical solutions that have a positive impact on startup support activities for students, contributing to improving the quality of training at CTUT.
