Research on optimal power distribution in transmission systems considering loss conditions in power systems
Abstract
In the context of the rapid development of the electric power industry, the industrial, agricultural, and service sectors are experiencing significant growth. To ensure the effectiveness and reliability of the system, performing accurate preliminary calculations is an essential requirement, with power allocation optimization being one of the major challenges. This problem requires a combination of advanced computational methods and optimization algorithms to achieve a reasonable distribution of power sources, reduce losses, and improve system operation efficiency. The research employs the Newton-Raphson iterative method to calculate the optimized power distribution on transmission power grids, demonstrated on the standard IEEE 25-bus and Brazil 46-bus power systems aiming to analyze the potential of development and optimization of the power grids under conditions of transmission misses. The research results show high effectiveness in solving the power dispatch problem for large-scale power networks, with the objective function satisfying multiple balanced and unbalanced constraint conditions.
