Abstract
Labor relations are a close relationship between employees and employers. However, this relationship always has contradictions and conflicts that need to be resolved. Faced with that situation, the trend toward labor dispute settlement through mediation is one of the effective solutions chosen by the parties. To help employees and employers better understand the procedures and competence of labor dispute settlement through formal mediation, the author will comment on and analyze the content of the provisions of the Labor Code 2019 on this issue. From there, point out the existing inadequacies and problems and make suggestions to improve the legal provisions for the settlement of labor disputes in the form of mediation.
