Improving the efficiency of civil case-handling activities at first instance in Tien Giang province

Abstract

Acceptance of civil cases is an important stage in civil procedure activities according to the first-instance order, and is meant for the conduct of the next stages in accordance with the provisions of the law. However, in the process of applying, there have been some difficulties and obstacles, so it was not possible to improve this activity in practice. On the basis of statistical research methods, synthesizing data from the People's Court of Tien Giang province and studying relevant documents, the author has synthesized, analyzed and evaluated the handling of civil cases according to the first-instance order at the People’s Court of Tien Giang province in the period from 2018 to 2022. This enabled the assessment of the achieved results, advantages and difficulties in accepting civil cases according to the first-instance order. From there, the author proposes measures to improve the efficiency of civil case handling in the first instance stage at the People's Court of Tien Giang province in particular and at the courts in general.
