Utilizing Cultural Resources for Community-Based Tourism Development among the Hmong in Muong Long Commune, Nghe An Province
Abstract
This article analyzes the utilization of cultural resources in the development of community-based tourism among the Hmong (Mong) in Muong Long Commune, Nghe An Province. By clarifying how the community’s traditional cultural values are mobilized and transformed into tourism-oriented products, the study evaluates the socio-economic benefits generated by community-based tourism, while also identifying the difficulties and challenges arising in the process of utilizing these resources. The article consequently discusses several emerging issues and proposes orientations to enhance the effective utilization of cultural resources, thereby contributing to promoting the sustainable development of communitybased tourism in Muong Long Commune at present.
