Determination of methylendioxymethamphetamine and methylendioxyethylamphetamine in human hair by gas chromatography – mass spectrometry (GC-MASS)
Abstract
Methylendioxymethamphetamine (MDMA) and methylendioxyethylthamphetamine (MDEA) as the most common stimulants of amphetamine type widely abused in Vietnam, their occurrence in human hair was determind by the routine gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS). The GC injection samples of were obtained by solid phase extraction (SPE) of human hair. The proposed procedure showed time-saving, and in addition, of high specificity, sensitivity. accuracy, precision, low limit of detection (LOD = 0.04 – 0.08 ng/mg) and limit of quantitation (LOQ = 0.12 – 0.24 ng/mg), as well.
