Development of an HPLC method for quantitative determination of apigenin-7-glucoside in the liposomes and gels prepared from Chamomile extracts
Abstract
An HPLC method for quantification of apigenin-7-glucoside (A7G) in the liposomes complex was developed as: HPLC system – Agilent 1260, Column - Gemini C18 (150 mm x 4 mm, 5 µm); Detector - PDA 335 nm; Mobile phase - phosphate buffer (pH 2.55) and a mixture acetonitrile and methanol (13:7), in gradient mode; Flow rate - 1 mL/min. Injection samples were prepared by extraction of the liposomes and gels with triton 10%; injection volume 50 µL. The proposed method was validated showing satisfactory system compatibility (RSD = 0.18 %); desirably good specificity, linearity (r = 0.9998; y = 160.94x); precision (RSD = 0.85 %); and accuracy (recovery rate - 99.77 % - 100.96 %. As for analysis of gel products, the method also showed good system compatibility, desirable specificity, linearity (r = 0.9998; y = 160.94x); precision (RSD = 1.46 %); and accuracy (recovery - 99.64 % - 101.09 %.).
