IMPROVING CAPITAL MOBILIZATION EFFICIENCY AT VIETNAM INTERNATIONAL COMMERCIAL JOINT STOCK BANK – THAI NGUYEN BRANCH
Abstract
Mobilized capital plays a fundamental role in commercial banking operations, determining credit expansion capacity and overall business performance in a market economy. This study examines the effectiveness of capital mobilization activities at the Vietnam International Commercial Joint Stock Bank – Thai Nguyen Province Branch (VIB Thai Nguyen) during the period 2022–2024, using indicators such as the scale and growth rate of mobilized capital; the structure of mobilized capital; the cost per unit of mobilized capital; market share in capital mobilization; and the ability to meet capital usage demands. Based on an assessment of the achieved results, existing shortcomings, and their causes, the study proposes several solutions to enhance the effectiveness of capital mobilization at VIB Thai Nguyen in the coming period.
