Abstract

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) has become a crucial factor in shaping employee behavior within the hospitality industry. This study examines the impact of CSR activities on employee engagement and their intention to remain with their organizations, specifically focusing on hotels in Can Tho City, Vietnam. The findings indicate that CSR initiatives, particularly those that prioritize environmental sustainability, community involvement, and employee welfare, significantly enhance employees' emotional connection to their workplace. This heightened engagement often translates into a stronger intention to stay, resulting in lower turnover rates. The research emphasizes the importance for businesses in the hospitality sector to incorporate CSR into their operational strategies in order to cultivate a more dedicated and loyal workforce. By investing in CSR, not only do companies benefit the broader community, but they also create a positive organizational culture that attracts and retains top talent, ensuring sustainable growth in a competitive market.
