Technology diffusion from foreign direct investment and sustainable development in Vietnam

Abstract

The study analyzed the relationship between technological spillover from foreign direct investment and sustainable development in Vietnam. Research data was collected from the World Bank and Sustainable Development Report of the United Nations from 2011 to 2022 combined with descriptive statistics and scatter plots. Research results showed that there was a positive linear relationship between technological spillover of foreign direct investment and sustainable development in Vietnam. The study gave some implications to enhance technological spillover from foreign enterprises and sustainable development in Vietnam.
