Abstract

This study focuses on developing a river tourism route model in Can Tho City based on service supply chain integration. The primary aim is to create unique tourism products, enhance local economic value, and foster sustainable collaboration among stakeholders. The research employs a combination of qualitative and quantitative methods, including surveys, interviews, and secondary data analysis. Supply chain theory is applied to identify key factors such as service providers (boats, restaurants, accommodations), supporting infrastructure, and customer experiences. The findings are used to design a comprehensive model that strengthens the connections among stakeholders to deliver a cohesive tourism experience. River tourism in Can Tho has developed but remains fragmented, with limited connectivity and coordination among service providers. Challenges include inconsistent service quality, inadequate infrastructure, and a lack of distinctive tourism products. Integration of service providers, including boats, tour guides, restaurants, and accommodations. Utilization of digital technology to manage and connect supply chain components. Strengthened coordination led by local authorities and tourism organizations. The development of a river tourism route model based on service supply chain integration is essential for sustainable tourism growth in Can Tho. A coordinated effort among government bodies, businesses, and the community is required. Investments in infrastructure, service quality improvement, and branding for Can Tho's river tourism are highly recommended. This research provides a foundational framework to  transform Can Tho's river tourism into a strategic product contributing to regional socio-economic development.
