Complete the provisions of law in order to improve the quality and efficiency of environmental protection inspection

Abstract

Based on an analysis of the legal provisions in the Environmental Protection Law of 2020 and the Inspection Law of 2022, this study highlights the shortcomings and inconsistencies in the regulations governing environmental inspections. These include the organization and execution of inspections, the coordination between competent authorities involved in inspection activities, and the responsibilities of inspection subjects in facilitating and supporting the inspection team. The study proposed recommendations for amendings the law in order to enhance the effectiveness of state inspections for environmental protection.
