Abstract

Problem-based teaching plays a particularly important role in the instruction of social sciences and humanities in military schools. The application of this method in teaching promotes learners’ activeness and initiative in cognition; develops their ability to identify and solve practical situations; fosters critical thinking and social skills; and ultimately contributes to the comprehensive development of learners’ competencies and qualities.
