Abstract

Victory in an offensive campaign is the result of the aggregate of all operational phases, in which the conduct of decisive engagements to annihilate enemy airborne landings plays the decisive role. Therefore, to secure victory in countering enemy airborne operations, the campaign commander and staff must effectively organize deception operations to create a favorable posture, maneuver forces, deploy combat formations, and seize advantageous conditions to defeat the enemy’s airborne assault operations.
