Abstract

Vietnam builds its national defense strength on the combined strength of the entire nation, the great national unity bloc, and the whole political system under the leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam and the unified management and administration of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. The Party’s leadership is the decisive factor determining the peaceful, self-defensive, all-people, comprehensive, independent, self-reliant, and increasingly modern nature of national defense. The article focuses on clarifying several issues related to steadfastly upholding the principle of the Party’s leadership in building the all-people national defense posture in the formulation of the Party’s 14th National Congress line.
