Abstract

Offensive action against enemy airborne landings is a form of offensive tactics aimed at annihilating enemy forces while they are in the process of landing or after landing but before their formations are stabilized. This is a tactical form widely employed by our Army in wars, across various scales and types of terrain, including operations at the infantry regiment level with armored units attached. To accomplish the assigned mission, the regiment must address a number of requirements. The article discusses several measures to ensure armored support for an infantry regiment in conducting offensive action against enemy airborne landings in the war to defend the Fatherland.
