Abstract

Under
 the
 significant
 influence
 of
 globalization,
 new
 urban
 areas
 in
 Hanoi
 are
 developing
 swiftly
 and

dynamically.
The
cultural
life
of
residents
in
these
areas
is
also
gradually
improving.
However,
in
parallel
with

this
development
come
with
various
risks
and
challenges
in
the
cultural
sector
that
require
research
from

different
sectors,
including
the
field
of
social
work,
to
propose
appropriate,
effective,
and
sustainable
solutions.

Therefore,
promoting
the
involvement
of
social
work
in
cultivating
a
cultural
environment
in
Hanoi's
new
urban

areas
holds
significant
theoretical
and
practical
value.
This
article
focuses
on
clarifying
fundamental
issues
of

building
a
cultural
environment,
the
contribution
of
social
work
in
this
process,
the
current
sate,
and
proposed

solutions
to
enhance
the
role
of
social
work
in
creating
cultural
environment
in
emerging
urban
areas
across

Hanoi.
