CONSERVATION AND DEVELOPMENT OF THE ART OF GLASS PAINTING IN VIETNAM

Abstract

The
article
presents
the
cultural
and
artistic
 value
of
glass
paintings
in
the
lives
of
 Vietnamese
people.
Glass
painting
is
a
genre
of
 folk
painting
formed
in
Vietnam
since
the
19th
 century
and
is
loved
by
Vietnamese
people
for
 its
unique
artistic
values.
Through
glass,
the
 artist
can
convey
many
ideas,
creating
a
unique
 aesthetic
effect.
The
article
uses
a
methodology
 to
analyze
artistic
value,
along
with
evaluating
 the
current
state
of
development
of
glass
 painting.
From
there,
we
propose
some
solutions
 to
preserve
and
develop
this
folk
page
line
in
 contemporary
society.
