THE NEED FOR NEW APPROACHES IN DEVELOPMENT POLICY FOR VERY LITTLE ETHNIC MINORITY REGIONS (The case of changing traditional values of Lo Lo people in Cao Bang)

Abstract

The
Lo
Lo
people
in
Cao
Bang
are
a
very
small
ethnic
group,
mainly
residing
in
remote
areas
with
particularly
difficult
development
conditions.
In
recent
times,
the
State's
programs
and
projects
have
been
implemented
through
the
Provincial
thnic
Committee
to
support
the
development
of
areas
with
very
small
ethnic
groups.
In
addition
to
the
achievements
in
infrastructure
development,
improving
economic
life
and
the
need
to
enjoy
spiritual
culture
of
the
people,
the
implementation
of
support
policies
still
lacks
the
participation
of
the
people,
as
well
as
there
has
been
no
comprehensive
assessment
of
the
impact
of
programs
and
projects
on
the
change
of
traditional
cultural
values.
