Quan,
a
folk
performance
genre
that
has
been
popular
in
the
life
and
cultural
activities
of

Vietnamese
people
for
a
long
time.
This
is
a
type
of
performance
in
which
men
and
women
respond
to
each

other
and
exchange
love
in
many
localities
in
the
North.
Although
they
both
have
the
name
Hat
Trong
Quan,

the
singing
style
in
each
place
has
its
own
characteristics
in
terms
of
music,
performance
methods...
This

article
presents
the
musical
elements
of
Hat
Trong
Quan
in
Duc
Bac
and
Da
Trach
communes
(abbreviated
as

Trong
quan
Duc
Bac
and
Trong
quan
Da
Trach).
Thereby,
it
shows
that
the
music
of
these
two
singing
styles

has
many
similar
and
different
elements
in
the
formation
of
melody,
rhythm,
tempo,
scale,
form,
and

structure
of
the
pieces;
recognizing
the
uniqueness
in
the
music
of
Trong
quan
Duc
Bac
and
Trong
quan
Da

Trach;
creating
a
solid
foundation
for
preserving
and
promoting
these
two
Hat
Trong
Quan
melodies
to

achieve
high
efficiency
and
quality,
forever
lasting
in
the
life
of
the
Vietnamese
people,
towards
integration

with
international
culture.
