DEVELOPMENT OF RIVER TOURISM IN VIETNAM

Abstract

Vietnam has a rich and diverse river system, which serves as a valuable resource for the development of river
tourism. This article discusses general issues related to river tourism, river tourism routes, the factors that shape
and influence river tourism, an overview of Vietnam's river system, and several models of river tourism
development around the world and in Vietnam. From there, several lessons learned are drawn, and at the same
time, some directions for the development of river tourism in Vietnam are suggested.
