VIETNAMESE MUSIC IN CYBERSPACE꞉ DEVELOPMENT AND EMERGING CHALLENGES

Abstract

Cyberspace has become a new environment for music creation, production, distribution and consumption,
bringing breakthrough opportunities for artists and the public. With the support of digital platforms,
Vietnamese music is not only widely accessible domestically but also spread internationally, showing the
potential of traditional music to reach far through digital tools. However, besides outstanding achievements,
cyberspace also poses many difficulties and challenges such as꞉ uneven artistic quality, copyright infringement,
deviant or offensive content, lack of control from management agencies, and confusion in orientation and
development support. Based on clarifying the environment and development conditions of Vietnamese music
in cyberspace, the article focuses on analyzing and evaluating the current state of development and identifying
the issues raised, aiming to build a healthy, creative and unique cyber music environment in the digital age.
