THE RECEPTION OF NHI GIA'S POETRY IN VIETNAMESE PHONICS POETRY COLLECTION - THE FIRST COLLECTION OF POEMS IN CHINESE CHARACTERS
Abstract
Việt âm thi tập (越⾳詩集) is the first Anthology of Poems written in Chinese characters of Vietnam, compiled within 30 years in the first half of the 15th century, that was granted by the King's ordinance to permit of engraving and printing as book for circulation. Besides the "local native" awareness and orientation of the national poetry at contemporary, Việt âm thi tập (越 ⾳ 詩 集) was also presented deeply the influence and receiving from the Confucian poetry, which is showed clearly in the statement of the co-editors in the prefaces, petitions to submit to the King. The thesis has concentrated in analyzing the 02 prefaces of the first editor (Phan Phu Tiên 潘夫先), the marker and reviser (Nguyễn Tấn 阮晉), the petition of offering books by “tục thái” (Chu Xa 朱⾞), by which to clarify the receiving of Confucian poetry both in term of poetry ideas and forms, genre as well as the specific characteristics, that closed with the development of the Chinese poetry history. This Anthology contained poetry ideas that founded the basis for the Vietnam poetry afterwards.
