Abstract
The Nguyen Dynasty is the last feudal dynasty in Vietnam, which lasted for more than 143 years (18021945) with 13 Nguyen kings. The costume of the Nguyen Dynasty was an important factor in creating the formality of the once monarchical state. Each costume of the king, mandarin, royal prince... under the Nguyen dynasty is a work of art. It is the combination of sewing, embroidery, painting, and goldsmith's skill to create a masterpiece of art full of the aesthetics of the ancestors. This is a unique heritage value of the Vietnamese nation. Therefore, the reproduction and application of Nguyen Dynasty costumes for students through the subject of Vietnamese and World costume history, the Central University of Art Education is very necessary in the fashion design training major.
