THE FACTORS OF SHAMAN IS M IN NHAY LUA RITUAL OF PA THEN ETHNIC IN QUANG BINH DISTRICT, HA GIANG PROVINCE

Abstract

Nhay lua is a kind of ritual that has the belief
factor of Pa Then ethnic. Nhay lua have
organized from October to December every year
(Yin calendar). This Ritual attracts many people
around the village and other villages cause of
the magic factor. People take part in the nhay lua
ritual that is youth men. Before the Ritual starts,
the Shaman reads the ancestral tablet in 3­4
hours to connect with spirits. In my article, We
want to bring people an opinion about relief roof
in nhay lua ritual. There are some explanations
about shamanism in a ritual of Pa Then ethnic in
Ha Giang, such as purpose and meaning of nhay
lua ritual; the phenomenons spirits descend or
incarnate. Thence, we can explain the origin of
nhay lua ritual.
