ARTISTIC VALUE OF CAO LAN PEOPLE'S WORSHIPING PAINTINGS AT SON DUONG TUYEN QUANG

Abstract

One of the factors for worshiping paintings of the Cao Lan people in Son Duong and Tuyen Quang exists and develops in the flow of Vietnamese folk art is artistic value. Cao Lan worship paintings show the ancient painting style with unique artistic tricks. Studying Cao Lan worship paintings from the perspective of shaping is a way to directly approach the hidden artistic values in the work. Thereby, it is possible to discover and explain the conceptions of the universe, aesthetic conceptions and social life of the ancient and present Cao Lan. The question is how is the visual art in the paintings of Cao Lan Son Duong and Tuyen Quang expressed? How is the artistic value of Cao Lan worshiping paintings expressed? In this article, the author will clarify the above issues.
