Abstract

Hanoi is a significant economic hub for the nation and is getting attention and investment in various areas, including tourism, which is expected to play a significant role in the capital's economy. Prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, Hanoi saw a steady increase in the number of tourists and was recognized by prestigous organizations as one of the world's most alluring travel destinations. Together with visiting historical, cultural, and craft villages, tourists to Hanoi also need to buy gifts for their loved ones and keepsakes. Tourists visiting Hanoi can purchase well-liked mementos such lacquerware, bamboo and rattan, ceramics, embroidery and so on. However, there aren't any novel, distinctive, or uniquely Hanoi-branded souvenirs available right now. Every household needs bar soap as a basic cleaning product since it is simple to make, convenient to keep, small, affordable, and may be bought both for personal use and as a gift. In addition to providing guidelines for developing bar soap products into a distinctive keepsake product in both form and content, this study's main objectives are to figure out tourists' requirements and preferences, contain cultural characteristics of Hanoi, contribute to the diversification of Hanoi's tourism souvenirs.
