TACTICS OF COMPARISON THROUGH “HEAVEN AND HELL: RECORD OF THE CORONAVIRUS PANDEMIC”
Abstract
Data visualization and comparison are commonly used manipulation in specialized research to clarify the specificity of objects as well as the relationships between them. Meanwhile, co-apperance is currently a technique of art used in literature, painting, film ... allowing to describe at the same time many things and phenomena (which exist in different spaces and times). This simultaneous appearance also gives rise to the "implicit comparison" in the reacher's perception, through which the theme and thought of the work are also conveyed. In the work "Heaven and Hell: Record in the Coronavirus pandemic" by Dinh Hong Hai, all the methods of comparing, co-present, data visualization have been used to the maximum, in order to depict panorama of the countries in the context before and during the Covid-19 pandemic. The following article will clarify the artistic tricks used in this work.
