Abstract

Art is the Model of creating meanings [1] (Art as Significant Form) was proposed by the theorist Clive Bell (1881-1964) based on the idea of
Kant's Beauty (1724-1804) a German philosopher. The traditional costume of the Pa Then ethnic women in Ha Giang province in Vietnam is unique, has its own formal features, outstanding in color. An applied art work rich in art reflects the creativity, talent of the people and reflects a whole culture here. This paper, based on research findings, argues that the color patterns on the traditional costumes of Pa Tagn ethnic women in Ha Giang province in Vietnam are organized in a strict form, as a model. create meaning. It even has significant similarities with today's contemporary color art. That pattern evokes the beauty of form and meaning deep inside as a symbol of the nation. It is a valuable inspiration in the use of colors, while contributing to the preservation of its own cultural identity, in order to honor the tangible cultural values
in the community of ethnic groups in Vietnam.
