VIETNAM EDUCATION PERIOD 1884-1945 FROM A CULTURAL PERSPECTIVE

Abstract

As an element of culture, education in the period of 1884-1945 should be recognized as a cultural heritage of the past, an important stage in the history of development of our country education. This education has made an important contribution in opening the way to access to modern, practical and scientific knowledge; opening the transition period for the quality of technical culture; training intellectuals with national spirit combined with the spirit of modern science and realization; creating a modern, aesthetic and applied educational institution.
