IMPROVING THE QUALITY OF TEACHING FOLK SINGING FOR STUDENTS OF MUSIC PEDAGOGY TO MEET THE NEW GENERAL EDUCATION PROGRAM
Abstract
In the current trend of strong integration and development of our country, Ministries Sectors are paying great attention to the education of ethnic traditional arts for the young generation, this is one of the right directions. One of the important measures is the teaching to high school students, the future generations of preserving and promoting the traditional artistic values of the nation. Students of music pedagogy are a team of music teachers in high schools after graduation, they are the ones who will directly teach folk songs to students, contributing to the conservation and promotion of music. traditional music and art values of the Vietnamese nation.
The music teaching program in high schools follows the current new general education program, the music subject teaches students to sing folk songs. Therefore, the quality assurance in teaching folk songs for students of music pedagogy to meet the new general education program needs to focus on a number of measures such as: Principles of teaching folk songs; Innovating the contents and methods of teaching and learning folk songs towards developing learners' capacity is a key step in determining the quality of training and at the same time meeting the requirements of the current new general education program.
