TRAINING SELF‑STUDY SKILLS IN HARMONY FOR UNIVERSITY STUDENTS OF MUSIC EDUCATION
Abstract
Harmony is a very important subject in the training program of University of Music Education. This is an applied and practical subject, actively supporting learning subjects such as: Analysis of works, Transcription for choir, Composition, Orchestra... or music creation activities. For music pedagogy students, in addition to learning in class, selfstudy skills help to master basic knowledge and skills, meet practical needs in the learning process and later work. Therefore, selfstudy skills play an important role in the process of learning music in general and learning Harmony in particular.
Practicing harmonious selfstudy skills helps to positively solve the learning outcomes of the subject. At the same time, applying the knowledge and skills of Harmony to complement other subjects and music activities in the learning and research process.
