METHODS OF TEACHING MUSIC PERCEPTION THROUGH SINGING LESSONS FOR 7TH GRADE STUDENTS AT VINH HUNG SECONDARY SCHOOL, HOANG MAI, HANOI
Abstract
This study researches, surveys and evaluates the current situation of Teaching Music Perception through the subject of singing for 7th grade students at Vinh Hung Secondary School, Hoang Mai, Hanoi. The results show that the situation is assessed at a good level, but there are still many shortcomings and limitations. Therefore, the author proposes the following measures to improve the quality and effectiveness of teaching music perception through singing for 7th grade students at Vinh Hung Secondary School, Hoang Mai, Hanoi, including: musicthemed teaching; teaching perceptiveness through musical characteristics in songs; feel the beauty of the song through other activities; education of music perception associated with local musical practices; experiencing songmaking and discovery activities; practical experience activities. Experimental results show that the above measures have a positive effect on teaching and learning activities at Vinh Hung Secondary School, Hoang Mai, Hanoi.
