APPROACH AND PROCESS DOCTORAL CURRICULUM DESIGN IN APPLIED ARTS
Abstract
The article focuses on studying training models, PhD degrees, and design and art majors of major universities in the world in order to have a scientific basis and data sources for analysis, comparison and sketching of the framework curriculum. The article proposes a method of approaching, implementing and developing training curriculums in order to achieve a systematic, tight block of knowledge and research activities for learners. On the basis of approaching the vision and mission of the training institutions, the national qualification framework of Vietnam, collecting data, surveying and interviewing stakeholders, from which there is a basis for setting goals, output standard for the curriculum. Through systematic and historical methods, interviewing experts, collecting actual data, the article has provided preliminary statistics in the development of objectives and output standards of the training curriculums.
